Light Up Hope: A Special Collaboration for "De Warmste Week"

For "De Warmste Week," a yearly Belgian charity campaign, I created a unique collection of light objects using repurposed bicycle rims. These one-of-a-kind pieces were designed to shine a light on hope and inspire giving.

A Touch of Stardom

To make these objects even more special, they were signed by three renowned professional cyclists: Tom Boonen, Jasper Philipsen, and Remco Evenepoel. Their signatures added a touch of stardom and further enhanced the value of these charitable creations.

Crafted with Care

Each light object features a repurposed bicycle rim, beautifully illuminated by a custom-made 3D-printed light ring. The base of each piece is also 3D-printed, showcasing the versatility and creativity of this technology.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

These unique light objects were sold in an online auction, with all proceeds benefiting "De Warmste Week" and its charitable initiatives.

A Legacy of Light and Giving

This project serves as a reminder of the power of collaboration, creativity, and giving back to the community. By repurposing discarded materials and leveraging the talents of renowned cyclists, we were able to create something truly special for a worthy cause.
